are located just 145 miles or approximately 2 1/2 hours from Chicago;
185 miles or approximately 3 1/2 hours from Indianapolis; 190 miles or approximately 3 1/2 hours from Detroit;
90 miles from South Bend and 35 miles from Grand Rapids.
From
Chicago
Take the 90/94 Skyway
to the Indiana Toll Road to Detroit/Lake Station which is Exit I-94
East towards Detroit into the State of Michigan.
Stay
on I-94 to Michigan Exit 34. Don't take
Indiana Exit 34 which puts you in Michigan City.
Take
Exit 34 which is I-196/131 North toward Holland to Exit 36
Douglas. Turn right or North onto Blue Star Highway.
The
Pines is located 1.2 miles on the left just through the
stoplight.
 From
Detroit/Grand Rapids
Take
I-96 West towards Lansing and Grand Rapids.
Near
Grand Rapids, Take the new M-6 West to Holland and then Exit
on I-196 South. Take Exit 41, Saugatuck.
Turn
Right or South onto Blue Star Highway. The Pines Motorlodge is
approximately 4 miles on the right, just before the stoplight.
From
Indianapolis/South Bend
Take US
65 North towards Chicago. Take 94 East towards Detroit. Stay
on I-94 to Michigan Exit 34. Don't take
Indiana Exit 34 which puts you in Michigan City.
Take
Exit 34 which is I-196/131 North toward Holland to Exit 36
Douglas. Turn right or North onto Blue Star Highway.
The
Pines is located 1.2 miles on the left just through the
stoplight.
OR
Take
31 North towards South bend.
As you near
South Bend, you will EXIT to the Right to merge onto the
Highway 31 North Bypass. Unfortunately, this exit has
no number so keep an eye out!
Stay
on I-131 North crossing into Michigan until the freeway ends.
You will be forced to exit. At the Exit, Take a
Left or head West. At about 2 miles, you will Exit
onto I-94 East to Detroit.
You
will stay on I-94 East for a very short distance and exit at
Exit 34 which is I-196/131 North to Holland.
Go to
Exit 36, the Douglas exit and take a right or North onto Blue
Star Highway. The Pines Motorlodge is up 1 mile
immediately after the stoplight on the left.
