Pines Motorlodge, Center Street Guesthouse
and Maple Ridge Cottages
are all three located in the heart
of the Saugatuck/Douglas area of Western Michigan. This exclusive
lakeside resort, often referred to as "The
Cape Cod of the Midwest," is nestled between Lake Michigan
and Lake Kalamazoo and surrounded by
the Kalamazoo River.

Pines Motorlodge
The
Pines Motorlodge,
a boutique lodging experience with retro charm,
is an 1940/50's style motorlodge located in the heart of the
villages of
Saugatuck/Douglas. Completely renovated, this 14 room
locally owned and operated lodging facility is located a short
drive from West Michigan's best beaches or an easy walk to shopping, art galleries, antiques,
restaurants and area nightlife.
Whispering
pines provide a picturesque backdrop as our enchanting property is
designed to provide guests with a woodland cottage setting
perfect for relaxing and enjoying the area's lakeside
atmosphere--a true pportunity to slow down, relax and enjoy
the fantastic area amenities.
The Pines Motorlodge is located in
the Village of Douglas, Michigan--a village which has not only
Lake Michigan to its West, but the Kalamazoo River on its East
and Lake Kalamazoo to the South allowing The Village of Douglas to enjoy
each morning's sunrise and each evening's sunset over beautiful
water vistas. Guests will quickly understand the motto, "Douglas,
the Village of Friendliness."
Each
freshly renovated room has either your choice of a king bed or
two full beds with luxurious pillow top mattresses and goose
down duvets along with TV/VCR, refrigerator, microwave and
both an indoor and outdoor table and chair set for your private
enjoyment. As well, guests may enjoy the large deck area with
gas grill and picnic tables shaded by mature trees--making
this the perfect
place for a quiet cookout or afternoon cocktail and book.
The Pines Motorlodge
is located less than a mile from quiet Douglas Beach and a
quick 5-minute drive through old growth forests
to historical Oval Beach. The very BEST in area shopping and
dining is less than a block away in quaint Downtown Douglas
or take a short, relaxing waterfront stroll over the bridge
into Downtown Saugatuck.
While a guest at The Pines Motorlodge, one can easily take advantage
of three beautiful sandy beaches; championship golf courses;
kayaking on the Kalamazoo River; boating on either Lake Kalamazoo

Maple Ridge Cottages
RENOVATED IN 2006! Maple
Ridge Cottages offer four fabulously quaint and cozy 2
bed/1 bath cottages located in Saugatuck featuring knotty pine
ceilings, wood floors, living room with gas fireplace,
bedrooms decorated in enchanting cottage décor with pillow-top
mattress and down duvets, full bath, fully equipped kitchen
with pine cabinets and stainless appliances including
microwave and dishwasher, 2 decks for outdoor fun--1 with
table and 1 with private Jacuzzi and gas grill.
Situated in a park-like
setting with an easy walk to downtown and quick drive to three
fantastic beaches, Maple Ridge Cottages provide a great
opportunity to relax and enjoy the area’s amenities in a
delightful setting. Sheets and linens provided, you bring the
food and libations for a memorable stay!

Ridge Cottages
are located 1.5 miles from The Pines Motorlodge across the
bridge in Saugatuck and a little over 3 miles or a quick
7-minute drive through old growth forests to historical Oval
Beach. A leisurely 15 minute walk into downtown Saugatuck
offers guests an array of activities, food and shopping or
take a 4 minute drive across the bridge to the Village of
Douglas to enjoy the very BEST in area shopping and dining.

Center Street Guesthouse offers guests the ease of

The Center Street
Guesthouse provides guests with two options—either a 4 bed/2bath
flat with a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining areas.
If your party is on the smaller scale, the property can be
offered as a 2 bed/bath flat with living and dining areas.
